Just as we're getting used to the new blogger set up we find Canal Planner appears to be changing too, or is it just our computer gone wonky !
The homepage hasn't changed, it's when you hit "Plan a journey", it seems a bit long winded to me.

I've just had a look. Yes, it's certainly changed - bring back the "quick" route planner!
I was a bit hasty - the quick route planner is still there, in its usual place a bit lower down on the left-hand side. I normally use this for planning.
Canalplan AC on Facebook posted the following on the 13th - might help. NB FreeSpirit.
I've just made a new release that, as promised, adds a much more user-friendly way to enter your route. You can easily quit to the standard screen, but even experienced users shouldn't find it too "noddy". Let me know what you think (for big stuff report as a bug, but we can chat about minor things here).
I've also added a "message" facility to let you send messages to each other if you want.
