Linslade to Marsworth
7 miles 11 Locks. and 1 Very stiff Swingbridge
Not much to Blog about today as we have been busy going through 11 Locks, we are at Marsworth or "Maffers" as the old Boatmen used to call it.
Over the next 2 days we will be travelling through the most heavily locked section of our entire cruise as we pass Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead, after that the locks are less frequent.
We have another 7 uphill Locks, and then it will be all downhill to London, not that either way is easier.
Today was Jaynes Birthday, but I am not going to give her age away, I will just say that she is older than me..
We had planned an early start tomorrow as Jayne wanted to get to a particular pub to eat, but having just checked out the prices on line we have decided to give it a miss, never mind we will still have an early start.
No Pictures today as the Broadband is poor.
